Notes: This Renhai was inspired by John's childhood memories of past Christmases. John was born in 1935 and lived in a then small farming suburb directly 25 miles west of downtown Chicago—yes a real small town then—Wheaton, Illinois. Their biggest fear was that they were bad enough as children that Santa would only bring coal and ash for their Christmas stockings.
