Notes: The theme for "Affairs of the heart" is expressed with verses showing opposite conditions: ups and downs.

The Metaphor of "the Merry-go-round" is a visual representation of the moving dynamic figures of the amusement device in two ways:

1) first, the figures on the ride move up and down similar to the upward and downward, the high and low points in a romantic relationship;

2) second, the circular motion of "the Merry-go-round" represents the circular, continuous existence of life, passing through the various highs and lows of a romantic relationship. Thus, the romantic relationship is viewed as a continuious passage between highs and lows of romance — an expression of opposite conditions.
